Clean Australia Government Contract
Operation:
The owners have been appointed by QBuild to clean two Government buildings in the Maroochydore area. The contract period is from 12 April 2010 to 11 April 2013; please refer to the “contract.”
The owners have decided to return to the U.K and offer the business for sale
Currently the owner employs staff to clean.
Current Roster:
Building 1. 6am start for 45 minutes
Building 2. 6pm start for 1.25 hours and 6pm start 2.5 hours x 2 people.
Award rates: Building 1 $19.175 per hour casual
Building 2 $21.476 per hour casual (evening shift)
A husband and wife team could clearly replace staff and clean themselves saving any wages.
EXTRAS:
The owners also have other cleaning jobs that they will include with the business sale. Two offices every 6 weeks around $440 inc GST. Two real estate offices and the owners home; current invoice $1,580 Inc GST for a month. The owner has also quoted on a townhouse development due to complte in early 2011 for 30 townhouses worth $24,000 inc GST. This quote hasn’t been accepted yet by the builder. There are random jobs as well, builder’s cleans etc.
